About Us

Bergen Boulevard School is home to Ridgefield’s first and second graders.

At Bergen Boulevard, we pride ourselves on providing an environment of safety and security for our students.  We fully understand the trust you place in us each day and we are committed to maintaining a secure environment that supports effective learning.

Academically, we are dedicated to creating an environment where each student's unique potential is recognized and nurtured.  In addition to reading, writing, phonics, math, science, and social studies, our students are exposed to music, technology, physical education/health, Spanish and art.  Our teachers consistently infuse technology into their daily lessons using Chromebooks, document cameras, and Promethean Boards to implement interactive lessons for their students.  All of our students at Bergen Boulevard are given a Chromebook as part of our 1:1 initiative. 

While academic achievement is important, we also prioritize the happiness and well-being of our students.  We believe that learning should be both enriching and enjoyable.  Our goal is to infuse creativity and excitement into the curriculum, encouraging students to explore, discover, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
