Meet Mrs. Choi - 2nd Grade
Mrs. Soo Choi
2nd Grade Teacher, Bergen Boulevard School
Hello! My name is Mrs. Choi, and I am thrilled to be part of the second-grade team at Bergen Boulevard School. I recently joined the Ridgefield community having taught for over 14 years in New York City and most recently in Fort Lee, NJ.
I graduated from New York University with a B.S. and attained my M.A. in Early Childhood Education from Hunter College in New York City. I believe that each child is special. Hence, I am dedicated to creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment where all students feel safe, valued, and are challenged.
Second grade is an especially exciting year. The students are maturing and growing into their personalities. They are also developing as readers, writers, and problem solvers. I feel very fortunate to work with them as they unlock their potential.
When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family and friends, spending time outdoors, and learning something new. I look forward to meeting and working with you!
