Meet Mrs. Pahlck

Mrs. Sarah Pahlck

2nd Grade Inclusion Teacher, Bergen Boulevard School

 

Hello, my name is Mrs. Pahlck and I am the 2nd grade inclusion teacher co-teaching with Mrs. Pietropinto. This is my 8th year of teaching and 7th year here at Bergen Boulevard. I previously worked as a special education teacher in grades 1, 2, and 3 and as a resource room teacher. I am passionate about working in the lower elementary years where students gain the foundation for lifelong learning. I strive to create an inclusive environment where every child feels valued, safe, and supported. 

 

I hold both a B.A. and M.A. from The College of New Jersey and am certified in elementary education, special education, and English Language Arts. I have a strong passion for reading instruction and am trained in programs including Orton-Gillingham and the Wilson Reading System. To continue growing as an educator, I am currently pursuing certification as a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant.

 

Outside of school, I love spending time with my family, especially outdoors. Being a mom has deepened my appreciation for the small but important milestones children reach every day. I’m also an animal lover and enjoy time with my dog. In my spare time, I like to get creative with crafts and projects, and I’m always up for trying new foods, especially anything sweet!
