Mrs. Alexandra Gleason

Hi! I’m Ms. Alex, and I currently teach first and second grade in the Learning Center Program. I’ve been teaching for nine rewarding years, including four years in the Ridgefield School District. I hold a bachelor’s degree in P-3 Teaching and English, along with an endorsement in Teaching Students with Disabilities.

From a young age, I knew that my calling was to work with children and help them flourish. Over the years, my passion for education has only continued to grow. I truly believe that every child, regardless of the challenges they may face, has the ability to learn and succeed. With the right tools, encouragement, love, and understanding, every child can spread their wings and soar.

I am committed to getting to know each of my students as individuals. I take the time to understand their unique learning styles, strengths, interests, and needs so that I can tailor my teaching approach and provide the support they need to have a successful and rewarding school year.

Outside of school, I love spending time with family and friends, caring for my two Boston Terriers, traveling, and binge-watching Netflix shows and docuseries. I also enjoy sports, Disney, and gardening.

I’m so excited for another wonderful year of learning, growing, and making memories with my students!
