Mrs. Allison McMahon

Hi there! I am Mrs. McMahon (formerly known as Ms. Neumann), and I am so excited for another great year at Bergen Boulevard!

This will be my 10th year teaching elementary school and 5th year in first grade. It is my favorite year to teach, as you can see such significant social and academic growth in your learner.

While attending Marist College in the beautiful Hudson Valley, I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Master's Degree in Educational Psychology. I have a K-6 Teaching Certificate, as well as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certificate. My goal in teaching continues to be creating an engaging, safe, and challenging environment in which every student achieves success.

Outside of school, I love spending time with family (my daughter is almost 1!), reading a good book, and taking my dog on walks!
