Mrs. Arevalo

1st and 2nd Grade Special Education Teacher, Bergen Boulevard School

Hello! My name is Mrs. Arevalo, and l'm a 1st and 2nd Special Education teacher at Bergen Boulevard School. This is my 8th year as a teacher and my 2nd school year in the Ridgefield Public School District. I hold a B.A. in Psychology and Early Childhood Education/Special Education.

My philosophy is to create a safe, caring classroom where students feel valued, differences are celebrated, and learning is individualized. I focus on building both academic skills and social-emotional growth, while working closely with families and staff to help each child reach their full potential.

To share a little about myself, I’ve been married for 18 years and have two wonderful teenagers—my 16-year-old son and 17-year-old daughter. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, baking, crocheting, reading, watching movies, and spending time with my family.
